The Werribee River is an over-committed, highly regulated catchment that drains the basalt plains west of Melbourne. This project applied the FLOWS methodology to determine the flow regimes required to sustain the ecological values of the river, including the well-preserved Werribee Gorge and significant Platypus population at Werribee.
