A wind farm comprising 59 turbines, 80 metres tall, is being planned at Lincoln Gap, south west of Port Augusta.

Ecological Associates surveyed the vegetation and fauna habitat of the site and advised how ecological impacts can be avoided or minimised in the design. A comprehensive bird survey will provide a baseline assessment of the risk of bird strikes and will provide further wind farm design information.
